The Beacon is a community newspaper delivered bi-monthly to approximately 5000 households between Dundarave and Lions Bay, in West Vancouver, BC, Canada. Started in 2013, the goal is simple: to showcase our community – its natural beauty, as well as its people. 

 

I have been part of the publishing team since its first edition, nine years ago. We are a group of diverse individuals, united by a passion for this beautiful place we are privileged to call home. We highlight the personalities who have developed our neighbourhoods, as well as those who keep day-to-day life moving along. The accomplishments of our schools are shared, our residents showcased. Good news is our thing.
